Using an ultra-fine fabric mesh filter, coffee grounds are separated from the water that is going down your drain. Grease Guardian products are designed to be easy to use, and this item comes with pipe fittings, 5 filter socks, and wall brackets for easy installation. Simply install the Coffee Guardian onto your coffee machine's waste hose via the unit's 3/4" inlet and connect the unit's 3/4" outlet to the floor waste point to filter coffee ground waste whenever the machine backwashes. This machine has a 1.8 lb. solids retention capacity and is meant to be installed below your coffee machine. The ST2 Mini is designed with confined spaces in mind and is suitable for wall or shelf-mounting arrangements.
