John Guest® PI050822S 1/4" x 1/4" NPTF Gray Acetal Push-To-Connect Stem Adapter

Install a safe and reliable water distribution system with this John Guest® gray acetal stem adapter. Made with a durable gray acetal copolymer body, this fitting is perfect for use in potable water tubing systems like ice machines, water dispensers, and faucets, as well as air and inert gas applications including pneumatics, vacuums, or moving CO2 and nitrogen through beverage gas lines. This stem adapter easily inserts into a John Guest® push-to-connect fitting to provide a simple transition to a female NPT threaded connection, and it fits 1/4" pipes. Quick and easy to install with no special tools needed, this fitting utilizes a unique push-to-connect design. After the stem is pushed into a compatible fitting and up to the tube stop, 301 stainless steel teeth grip onto it to hold it in position. Meanwhile, a collet also grips on before a food grade nitrile O-ring compresses around the stem adapter for a leak-free seal. This stem adapter also features a nitrile thread seal, and once its stem is inserted into another John Guest® fitting, the connection is permanent.
