This stem adapter easily inserts into a John Guest® push-to-connect fitting to provide a simple transition to a female NPT threaded connection, and it fits 3/8" and 1/4" pipes. Quick and easy to install with no special tools needed, this fitting utilizes a unique push-to-connect design. After the stem is pushed into a compatible fitting and up to the tube stop, 301 stainless steel teeth grip onto it to hold it in position. Meanwhile, a collet also grips on before a food grade EPDM O-ring compresses around the stem adapter for a leak-free seal.
