This stem adapter easily inserts into a John Guest® push-to-connect fitting to provide a simple transition to a female NPT threaded connection, and it fits 3/8" pipes. After the stem is pushed into a compatible fitting and up to the tube stop, 301 stainless steel teeth grip onto it to hold it in position. Meanwhile, a collet also grips on before a food grade EPDM O-ring compresses around the stem adapter for a leak-free seal.
