The valve hub also fits DWV piping and can be adapted for sewers or drains. This backwater valve conveniently comes with a threaded access cap and a valve flapper. Featuring an internal elastomeric seal, the valve flapper provides a watertight seal. The access cap similarly features a neoprene seal and can be easily tightened or removed by hand.
