SharkBiteTM U2020-0000LF 1" x 1" Brass Push-To-Connect Check Valve

Install a safe and reliable water distribution system with this SharkBiteTM check valve. Made with a DZR brass body that prevents corrosion and cracking, this fitting is perfect for use in commercial and residential plumbing when installing potable water or radiant heating systems above or underground, as well as behind walls. This check valve is spring-loaded and helps to prevent the reverse flow of water. It can be quickly and easily installed horizontally or vertically and is compatible with PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE SDR-9 tubing in any combination, and it fits 1" pipes. Simple to install with no special tools or materials needed, this check valve is ideal for use in tight spaces and utilizes a unique push-to-connect design. After securely passing through a release collar, the stainless steel grab ring features teeth that bite onto the pipe for a leak-free connection. Meanwhile, the EPDM rubber O-ring protector compresses around and aligns the pipe for a watertight seal. An integral stiffener provides additional pipe support, especially when using this fitting with PEX, PE-RT, and HDPE tubing. This check valve has a max working temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit and a max working pressure of 150 PSI.
