This tool is designed to efficiently mark the proper insertion depth for standard SharkBiteTM and SharkBite MaxTM universal fittings on EvoPEX®, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, and SDR-9 HDPE piping. It's compatible with 1/2", 3/4", and 1" tubing, and it can also be used to deburr the outside of copper pipes. Simply rotate the tool after inserting the pipe to remove any sharp sections or burrs.
