The T&S BP-TMV-38C-CBT thermostatic mixing valve with cold bypass tee helps to mix hot and cold water to reduce the temperature of the hot water to a desired temperature between 80 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit (factory preset temperature is 100 degrees Fahrenheit). This ensures safe water temperatures and prevents customers from potentially hazardous conditions. Comprised of a durable brass body, this mixing valve is built to last. The locking temperature adjustment knob is also vandal-resistant to provide an added level of safety. It has a 3/8" compression connection that can be converted to a 9/16-24 male thread connection by removing the lock nuts and ferrules. It is rated for use in up to 125 PSI of pressure and has integral check valves with filter screens in both the hot and cold inlet. A cold water bypass tee is included for added versatility.
