This T&S EC-1210-08-WFK ChekPoint 8" sensor-operated glass filler is a great way to bring your business the convenience of a dedicated glass filling station, but with a user-friendly sensor design that's easy on glassware and works to prevent the spread of germs, too! Traditional glass fillers use a lever mechanism to dispense water, which requires contact between the glass and the faucet. If your staff are in a hurry, they could potentially damage a glass by pressing too hard on the lever, and even under normal operation this lever creates a contact point where germs can transfer. The sensor solves this issue by activating the water flow when the glass is placed under the nozzle, giving water when you need it, with no contact between the glass or hands, and the glass filler. It features a high-arc, rigid nozzle design that offers 8" of clearance, a 1.5 GPM flow rate, and an anti-microbial laminar flow device outlet. This outlet design further increases sanitation by reducing splashing without introducing air into the water supply, which makes it especially useful in applications where contamination is a concern. The outlet is also vandal-resistant, which prevents tampering in high-traffic areas. Keeping your water filtered to top quality is important, too, which is why this glass filler also comes with a filter cartridge to help remove bad tastes and contaminants. And thanks to its simple docking station design and a built-in shutoff lever, changing out the cartridge is easy to do. For easy installation, the control box mounts below the sink deck / countertop, and it can be battery-powered (with 4 AA batteries, included), hard-wired, or you can use the included AC adapter. A 24" sensor cable and 18" stainless steel flex hose connect the control box to the faucet. 18" and 20" stainless steel supply hoses with 3/8" compression fittings connect the filter to the control box, and your facility's water line to the filter.
