Watts 0111513 757-OSY 6" Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer Assembly with OS&Y Valves

This Watts 757-OSY 6" double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent backsiphonage of polluted water into a potable water supply. It's ideal for protection at cross-connections identified as non-health hazards or from other contaminants found at service line entrances. This valve has 6" flanged joint inlet and outlet connections, and it features a type 304 stainless steel body and sleeve with bronze body nickel-plated test cocks. Plus, it's 70% lighter than traditional designs. Thanks to its compact, modular design with a single-access sleeve, this unit facilitates easy installation and maintenance. The patented tri-link checks ensure low pressure loss and are serviceable without the need for special tools. This assembly also has outside stem and yoke (OS&Y) resilient seated gate valves. It comes complete with a replaceable check disc rubber, groove fittings for integral pipeline adjustment, two independently operated check valves, two drip-tight shutoff valves, and four test cocks.
