This Watts 1 1/4" anti-siphon vacuum breaker is designed to prevent backsiphonage of contaminated water into a potable water supply. This vacuum breaker has 1 1/4" FNPT bottom / inlet and outlet connections, and it features a brass body with a full size orifice for maximum flow, which ensures water passages are streamlined to provide high water flow with minimal pressure loss. It's a direct replacement for the one that came with select equipment, and it's used to replace a worn or broken part in order to relieve below the maximum working pressure. This vacuum breaker features a light weight and durable disc float, which is suitable for temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. It helps close the atmospheric vent, preventing any spills under all flow rates, so it's ideal for low flow installations, like laboratory equipment.
