This Watts LF909-QT-FS 1" reduced pressure zone assembly is designed to protect potable water supplies in accordance with national plumbing codes and water authority requirements. It's ideal for a variety of installations, including the prevention of health hazard cross-contaminations in piping systems or for containment at the service line entrance. It features 1" NPT inlet and outlet connections, quarter-turn ball valve shutoffs with tee handles, and full-port resilient-seated ball valve shutoffs. This assembly can be used with SentryPlus Alert (sold separately) to activate the flood sensor, which detects excessive water discharges from the relief valve. This unit sports a cast copper silicon alloy body that is made to last. It also features check modules, replaceable seats, top-mounted test cocks, and a pressure differential relief valve. Its patented air-in and water-out design provides high-capacity relief valve discharge performance in the event of an emergency. Thanks to its modular, compact design, this unit facilitates easy maintenance and assembly with no special tools required for servicing. Plus, it offers both horizontal and vertical installation.
