This Watts 1" double check valve assembly is designed to protect drinking water supplies from dangerous cross-connections in accordance with requirements for non-potable service applications like irrigation, fireline, and industrial processing. This valve has 1" inlet and outlet connections, and it features a cast bronze body, top entry, replaceable seats and seat disc, top-mounted ball valve test cocks, tee handles, and low pressure drop. No special tools are needed for servicing. This assembly can be used with SentryPlus Alert (sold separately) to activate the freeze sensor, which indicates when temperatures near the freezing point, helping to reduce or eliminate equipment replacement or repair. Thanks to its compact, modular design, this unit facilitates maintenance and assembly by retaining the spring load.
