Watts T122601 LF007-QT-S-FZ 1/2" Double Check Valve Backflow Preventer Assembly with Strainer

This Watts LF007-QT-S-FZ 1/2" double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed to be installed at cross-connections, preventing any backflow of polluted water into the potable water supply. This valve has 1/2" inlet and outlet connections, and it features a cast copper silicon body and strainer, top entry cover for easier maintenance, replaceable seats and seat disc, top-mounted ball valve test cocks, tee handles, and low pressure drop. No special tools are needed for servicing. This assembly can be used with SentryPlus Alert (sold separately) to activate the freeze sensor, which indicates when temperatures near the freezing point, helping to reduce or eliminate equipment replacement or repair. Thanks to its compact, modular design, this unit facilitates maintenance and assembly by retaining the spring load.
